As a Managing Partner, CFO, and Financial Planner, my primary responsibilities revolve around crafting detailed financial plans, offering investment recommendations, overseeing marketing strategies, and welcoming new clients to our firm. My specialty lies in assisting individuals navigating the complexities of major life changes, such as nearing retirement, death of a loved one and divorce.
As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® (CDFA®), I help protect my clients from expensive emotional decisions and decode the financial complexity of divorce into actionable choices. This helps my clients feel more confident and obtain sustainable, fair settlements with fewer post-divorce financial regrets. I work closely with clients and their attorneys to help them understand the long-term financial implications of their decisions and create a plan for their financial future.
As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, I collaborate with clients to develop personalized financial plans that align with their retirement and wealth accumulation objectives. A robust financial plan is crucial, as it outlines a strategy for saving, investing, and managing cash flow throughout life. This encompasses retirement income, Social Security timing, dream home purchases, educational savings for children or grandchildren, legacy planning, charitable contributions, and insurance needs.
With over 12 years of experience in the financial services industry, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my clients. Before joining this firm, I spent seven years as a Financial Advisor at a community bank in Sandusky, Ohio and five years with JPMorgan Private Bank in New York City and Columbus. My education includes a Master of Business Administration from Ohio State University at the Fisher School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in mathematics from Denison University.
Outside of the office, community involvement is a passion of mine. As a native of Erie County, I currently serve as Treasurer for the Sandusky Education Foundation, President of The Assembly, and Board Member for Harbourtown Fine Arts Center in Vermilion. I reside in Vermilion along the river with my husband Larry and our pets, Gabe and Bailey. I enjoy boating, playing tennis, and spending quality time with family.
